HAWA has been running $30 spay/neuter specials throughout October and November. It has been decided to continue this special pricing throughout December but space is limited on the remaining year end transports.

HAWA has a low-cost micro-chip ID service ($15 per pet) available at the time your pet’s surgery is done.  More than 90% of pets lost without ID are never returned – many are euthanized. The Haywood County Animal Shelter has only 4 working days for an owner to re-claim their pet. If your pet has the ID, an automatic scan of your pet will let the shelter people know and you will be notified.  For more information call 452-1329
